The Dog Days of Summer

So summer is coming to an end...and all I did was work! Blah Blah Blah (in my @MiaTheBoss voice). These pictures are nothing fancy shmancy. Just me being a fool in front of the camera's before I head out. Thanks to my followers for visiting and commenting!

Mood Swings

Dressing in this heat is nothing blog worthy. The weather in NYC had to be 100 degrees plus last week and the commute is the worst part of your day. You don't know heat until you stand in a hot subway tunnel after a long day of work. I have been keeping it easy breezy. Harem Pants and Crop Tops. This week the temps are cooler in the 80's and we even got some rain. Hence I started dressing like I actually cared. I've decided to just buy a new camera for my bday which is September 1st! I know you guys are tired of seeing the work bathroom pics. This green-gold necklace below is my favorite purchase of the year. I will most likely be wearing it with everything. Hope you enjoy your day!

Pre Mid Life Crisis

Is anyone getting to the age where they feel like everyone around them is getting married and having kids and your not even in a stable relationship? At the age of 24 two months shy of my 25th birthday I am suffering from a pre-mid life crisis. If that makes any sense. Dating for me is tough only because I’m not the best at communication. If I am feeling a certain way about a situation I tend to shut the other party out and ignore them until I am ready to talk. Selfish, yes. Little Kiddish, yes. In today’s social society it is hard to keep the interest going after the flame is winding down from the initial “get-to-know-you” phase. And with Facebook and Twitter sometimes you find out something about a person that you don’t particularly like. I know I sound like I'm whining but dating in this day and age (damn i'm old) is hard. Anyone have any advice or inspirational messages for this Hopeless Romantic?
