Winter Colors

I'm a big fan of black, especially in the winter. All black everything. This season I'm trying things a little different. I plan on infusing a bright color with every outfit. I'm loving the ponchos, bright colors, color blocking etc.. This is the season to experiment.

Beauty Tips

With a sea of beauty products for every beauty dilemma try some of these crazy but useful tips before breaking in the bank..

1) Scent Strands with Perfume
Spray a light shot of fragrance into the bristles of your brush. Run it through strands from roots to ends and your hair will smell amazing throughout the day.

2) Cure Calluses with Vaseline
Slather on the petroleum jelly, and put on socks before bed to dissolve tough calluses overnight. Also, try a foot buffer right after you bathe to scrub off dead skin.

3) Soothe Dry Skin with Avocado
Take a ripe avocado, remove the pit and skin, and mash it up in a bowl. Put it all over your body are your super dry spots, let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse off. Avocado is a natural moisturizer and will leave your skin hydrated and baby soft.

4) Add Vitamin E Oil To Your Fragrant Lotions
Fragrant lotions aren’t the best for moisturizing skin, add a drop are two of Vitamin E oil into your lotion for extra luster and great smell. Vitamin E Oil can be found at most major health food and grocery stores.

5) Toothpaste on a pimples
Put a pea-size amount of toothpaste on the pimple. Let sit for 15 minutes to absorb the oil, then wash off.

6) Hot Curl Your Lashes
If you have un-tameable lashes, try curling them into place with your metal eyelash curler and hair dryer. Warm your lash curler with the hair dryer for a few seconds to heat and curl lashes like normal.

7) Exfoliate Your Underarms
For dark arm pits and dry flaky skin an easy trick is to exfoliate them with a gentle face scrub to keep that skin fresh looking.
8) Shave with Conditioner
Conditioner softens the hair so it’s easier to shave off and makes legs and armpits silky and soft.

9) Incredible Egg-White Mask
To put life back into tired, dull skin without hitting the spa , crack open an egg in a bowl, separate the yolk, and use the egg whites to make a face mask. The proteins help to heal and restore skin’s moisture. Leave it on for five minutes, and rinse off.

I love Solange point blank period! Her style is ahhmazing! She inspired me to try these waist length braids. Aka the Justice Braids (Janet Jackson in Poetic Justice). I had to try these. So I paired it with a bare face and a red lip. What do you ladies think?

Happy Novem-BURR

Checking in! I know I've been a very bad blogger. I've recently changed jobs so I'm just getting in the swing of the work schedule. I'm so loving Bow Ties right now. I've been wearing them with EVERYTHING!

Also I've been trying to build my portfolio as a stylist. So I have been working on TFP shoots. I'm excited to see where it will take me. I always like challenging myself. Check out this Baby Stroller carved from a Watermelon I did for a friend's baby shower. Tell me what you think! - ♥Dee
