Winter Colors continued...

I fell in love with this salmon blazer at Fashion To Figure so much that I purchased two. The color is just perfect to pop any outfit. I have been wearing it with everything and it has become my favorite winter purchase. My next purchases will consist of an amazing NYE dress and some amazing shoes. I've never really partied for New Years so this will be my first year going all out. It's also one of my best friends birthday so it's gonna be MAJOR!

Monif C Holiday Collection

I love when a designer is consistent, year after year they showcase a collection to die for leaving you to yearn for every single item. Monif C's newest collection is no exception. She is consistent her quality is amazing and the fit of her dresses are to die for! I'm in love with every single piece from her new Holiday Collection! I think I would wear anything modeled by Denise Bidot or Fluvia Lacerda. Crossing my fingers for this sequin show-stopper.

Uggh! I love this one too...(ahh! screams from my bank acct)

You make me blush...

Fact about me. I love black and white! This season's influx of nude colors is pulling me in the other direction though. I fell in love with this Micheal Kors shirt dress in Macy's. And the good news is it was 50% off. I dashed to the register. With nude colors less is more as far as accessories so I kept it simple. This soft baby pink is what you will most likely see me in all summer. On the other hand I am dying to try the color blocking trend. Hmmph. We'll see.

Black & White

Alot has happened since my last post. I've deleted the address book in my phone. Too many toxic people in my life. I quit my job! But I start a new one tomorrow. Thank God. I've moved into my own apartment! Yay! And I'm loving my new space..look at my closet

So many great things are happening for me and I'm excited to take you on the journey with me.

Blogs I'm Obssessed With

For the most part I don't blog as much because I'm so consumed in following so many other blogs. Here are my Top 3 Obsessions.

1. Mia from Diary of a Fatshionista

I ♥ Mia because she is so damn fancy. Her style is amazing, her ability to rock the shit out of a dress and her flawless skin and hair. She's my bff in my head. LOL

2. Brittany from Pockets and Bows

I'm pretty new to following Brittany's blog. Besides falling in love with her style she has a crazy shoe collection. She's another BFF in my head who I go over her house and steal her shoes. LOL
BTW I'm coming for these.

2. Gabi from Young, Fat and Fabulous

She needs no introduction. Ms. Gabi the inspiration to so many of us fatshionista's. I've been an admirer of hers for a long time and I am so happy for all her success. She truly deserves it. If you don't know who she is or what she is about look her up! One fly young lady! Check out her cover of Black Enterprise. #TeamGabi!!!

Military Trend

Refinery 29 hit the nail on the head with Saluting the Military Trend! Layering one of the many reasons I love the fall. Check out what they had to say.

From Refinery29.com
"We're not always big on sweeping fashion trends, but, we have to admit, the latest wave of fall military-inspired styles is pretty persuasive—if not downright unavoidable! From Marc by Marc Jacobs to Rag & Bone, the earthy palette of olive greens and burnished neutrals, along with lots of smart utility features and clean cuts is a perfect complement to all our autumn standbys. The trick to getting this global theme right, without looking like we've reinstated the draft? Choose your military accents wisely, mixing and matching between a tailored cargo skinny, broken-in combat boots, and other uncommon utilitarian extras."

Plus Size Options:

From Left to Right: Nordstrom - Calvin Klein Jeans Cinched Waist Jacket , Torrid - Green Victoria Cargo Pant , Torrid - Z. Cavaricci Couture - Olive Skinny Leg Cargo Pant , Torrid - Black Wool Military Jacket

Are you looking forward to any fall trends? Email me at pushingthecuttingedge@gmail.com so I can feature it.

My 24th Birthday

Went down Boss Bitch Style! LOL. Beautiful Location, Great Friends, Champagne, and Strawberry Short Cake. What more could a girl ask for? Something about Black and White it's always right no matter how you do it. So I went for the two tone black and white dress from Asos. Loved it!

Eliza Parker Launch Party

Hope everyone had a good July 4th!
Last Wednesday, I along with some other fatshionista's stopped by Eliza Parker's Launch Party. Shopping, Networking, Food and Drinks! What more could a girl ask for? Chatted up with Jessica Tenaglia the owner and her fabulous team. The thing I love about her clothes is how versatile everything was. She has a fabulous "Million Ways Long Cardigan" which is a god-send working and living in the city. You can wrap it closed for work and open it and belt it later for after work drinks. I met so many fabulous ladies and can't wait to see them this upcoming Friday for the YFF Conference. :)

Visit www.elizaparker.com and by entering Coupon Code SUMMER20 you Get $20 off you next purchase of $100 by August 31st.
